PUSA: A total of RM700,000 has been allocated for organisations and welfare support in Beting Maro.
According to Beting Maro Assemblyman Razaili Gapor, the funds will be distributed through village heads to provide assistance, including death benefits, educational support, and aid for hospital discharge.
“Funds for organisations are allocated based on the specific roles of each association, while PIBG (Parents and Teachers Associations) will receive allocations according to the category of their schools,” he said during a meeting held at the Batang Lupar Service Centre on Tuesday.
He also urged all organisations to work closely with the Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) to better identify the needs of each association.
This collaboration will help the Service Centre efficiently distribute funds, particularly to address concerns about the lack of activities for youth in Beting Maro.
The meeting was attended by community leaders and village chiefs (KMKK), and educators from the Beting Maro constituency.
